Estate Tour & Tasting
The best way to understand a wine is to see where it comes from. Every Sunday morning, we open the estate for a walking tour through the vineyards, olive grove, crush pad, and cave—followed by a seated tasting that connects the land to the glass.
Your Morning
Meet at the Vineyard
Start among the vines. Your host walks you through the estate blocks, explains the Calistoga AVA, the volcanic soils, and what makes this stretch of valley floor ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon.
Walk the Grounds
Continue through the olive grove and garden to the crush pad. See where the grapes arrive during harvest, how they’re sorted, and where fermentation begins.
Enter the Cave
Descend into the barrel room carved into the volcanic hillside. Learn about the cave aging program—how temperature and humidity shape the wines resting in French oak.
Seated Tasting
Finish with four wines at a reserved table, connecting what you saw on the walk to what you taste in the glass. Your host shares the winemaker’s notes for each pour.
