Tasting Notes

A rarity in the world of viticulture is finding a vineyard where the vines are own-rooted. It requires a unique setting in which the vines are allowed to be in their natural state. We are fortunate to work with such a vineyard in Alisos Canyon—a region highlighted by a diverse blend of sandy soils engulfed by a transverse mountain range. Blanketed daily with morning fog and the chill of the ocean air, this unique micro-climate often pushes the growing season into November.
