Built for the season when dinner moves outside and stays. Six wines from Napa and Sonoma we chose to carry summer through every course — a bright Sauvignon Blanc and two Chardonnays for the cheese boards and the first quiet hours; a Rosé of Mourvèdre and a Grenache for when the grill comes out; a Russian River Pinot Noir for the long, slow finish under string lights. Each one is poured in our cave by the glass through the season. Together they're a guide to drinking your way from the first warm evening to the moment the air turns. Six bottles. One season.
